The morning started out with one of nature's greatest wonders: the Great Unconformity. We took a hike up a side canyon where you could see the different layers of rock in the walls. The Great Unconformity is a particular layering where you find two rock layers atop each other, but they date a billion years apart! No one knows exactly how this happened, but it's pretty remarkable.
We then did a second hike to see some Anasazi layover ruins. There was a particularly interesting configuration where the Anasazi had built one of their dug-out places of worship
